As promised, here is the first in a series on easy and inexpensive wall art. I have been seeing eye chart art everywhere recently. Erica over at Urban Grace recently posted about her lovely print:
And while the 16 GBP price tag isn't bad, I was able to whip up my own little eye chart for free.
Y'all are welcome to download and print off my version here, or you can easily make your own.
Just use Microsoft Word or any word processing program, type in whatever saying you'd like (mine is part of an old poem my husband found and really liked), divide it into sections, and play around with the spacing. I ended up putting one space between each letter and using either double or 1.5 spacing between lines depending on the size of the text. Center align everything. Once it looks good and eye chart-y, just print it off and pop it in a frame. It's super easy.
Just in case your eyes didn't pass the chart reading test, it says: "Only one life, twill soon be past. Only what's done for Christ will last."

I love it! I'm totally going to have to do one somewhere.
I love, love, love this! I just made two of my own and have the perfect spot all picked out for them. Thank you for the neat (and easy) idea! Oh, I used these quotes for mine:
Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.
God will not place a burden on a man's shoulders knowing that he cannot carry it.
:)

This is one of my favorite quotes of all time --- my mother-in-law had it hanging in her house -- a plaque right at the back door.
I can't thank you enough.
Love it! Thanks so much
came by Ann's referral and just wanted to say... I LOVE IT! I have this same little quote on an ugly little plaque from the 50's or 60's on top of my microwave... I had to keep it for the words.
a VERY good reminder for those hum drum days. It has encouraged me MANY a time.
