I very much dislike the fact that the master bedroom is always the last room in our house to be decorated. Does that say something about how I prioritize our public life over our marriage/personal life? I sure hope not.
While I definitely consider every room in our house to be a work in progress, the master has been sadly neglected. It's time for a change. I'm working with what we have, so the finished product likely won't be drastically different, but I hope to make the room feel inviting and cozy. Here's what the space looks like now:
And here are {a few of} my plans for it:
To say the room has been completely neglected wouldn't be true, since I have done a few projects in here already. {Mirrored screen, "upholstered" bed, lamp shades, stationary roman shades, and just this weekend we threw together the new side tables just like this one.}
But it definitely needs some warmth and finishing touches. Hopefully it will remain high on my priority list and I'll get it finished up soon :)
