It seems that vintage suit cases are everywhere lately, and while I adore the look, it's nice when an interesting decorative object can also serve a practical purpose. Like a craft kit:

Or a picnic basket:
Or an awesome set of drawers:
My mom recently came across this mis-matched set and was sweet enough to offer them to me. And while this is definitely not the most creative way to use them, sometimes you just need a little extra "stuff" storage.
They fit perfectly tucked back in the little niche between the living room and our bedroom.
And I'm loving all the beat-up character.
They may not be the most creatively used vintage suit cases, but they definitely look well-traveled. Thanks, mom!
